Water Supply Licence under section 17A of the Water Industry Act 1991

The Office of Water Services ("OFWAT") awarded Satec with a "Combined" Licence on 24th May 2006. Licence Number C04/2006.  A copy of the licence can be requested from Satec or seen on the OFWAT website www.ofwat.gov.uk.  Satec have formed a new division for this business and will trade as Water Choice.

The Water Choice Division of Satec Ltd will market water and effluent treatment services to large industrial users as a “Total Water and Effluent Treatment Partner” by providing a comprehensive package to Industrial clients throughout the UK.

The Water Choice Division is being established as a new operating division within Satec out of the two existing divisions of Water Projects and Water Service with a greater focus on the water supply and effluent treatment within the UK market, and to maintain a significant presence to take advantage of further developments that can and should occur within the Water Industry including the new Water Supply Legislation over the next few years.

Water Choice and thus Satec will become a specialised “Private” Water Company distinct from the existing Water Undertakers and Water and Sewage Undertakers and with the ability to be more flexible in its approach to the market’s requirements.

Satec specialises in engineered and packaged treatment of clean process water and effluent wastewater, sewage and sludges, as well as providing ongoing operation, maintenance, servicing and spare parts and Water Choice will utilise this in-house expertise to provide significant cost savings in water and effluent treatment services along with operation and maintenance of the assets on a 24/7 basis throughout the UK.

In essence we aim to become a complete solution provider in the water and effluent market by becoming a new primary supplier of water, water and effluent treatment, water re-use and facilities management to clients throughout the UK.
